Michael L. Tindall is a research economist and alternative investment specialist in the Supervisory Risk and Surveillance division of the Banking Supervision Department. He joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas in February 2011. His primary research fields are hedge-fund analytics and financial and macroeconomic forecasting. Previously, he was employed as an economic forecaster in the investment securities business in New York City. He has taught at New York University’s Stern Graduate Business School and at the School of International Affairs at Columbia University. He holds a PhD in economics from New York University.
