Economy in Action Museum Impact Study

Dallas

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is conducting an impact study for its Economy in Action museum, located in the Dallas office lobby. The study seeks to gather insights on how the museum impacts individuals and the regional community, with a focus on learning and engagement. Feedback from the study will help inform planning for programming and future improvements.

The effort is guided by the American Alliance of Museums through its Museum Social Impact in Practice initiative. Per AAM guidelines, participants are required to visit the museum in person three times between June 2 and Oct. 31, 2025. The study is closed to new participants as of Oct. 1.

Participants who complete the required three visits within the allotted time frame will be asked to complete an online survey. The survey will include basic demographic information in order to gauge community representation.

Participant requirements

  • Registration is required.
  • Registered participants must be 18 years of age or older but may be accompanied on visits by younger guests.
  • Only one study participant per household. Family members and friends may accompany participants, but only registered participants should complete the survey.
  • Make three in-person visits to the museum in the Dallas Fed building near downtown Dallas.
  • Complete all three visits between June 2 and Oct. 31, 2025.
  • Complete an online survey following the third visit. The survey will be sent by email.

Additional guidelines

  • Visits and survey completion are voluntary. Participants may withdraw at any time.
  • Participants may bring as many as four additional guests per visit.
  • Free onsite parking is available for participants.
  • Participants who complete the study may opt to receive a Dallas Fed-branded gift as a token of appreciation. Delivery will be by mail.
