Jed Fanning

Jed Fanning serves as president and CEO of Citizens Bank of Las Cruces. He is also a director and president of Amador Bancshares, the holding company for Citizens Bank, and is a 40-year veteran of the banking industry in New Mexico and West Texas.

Fanning currently serves as chairman for the Independent Community Bankers Association of New Mexico and is on the board of the Western States Director Education Foundation. He also is on the board and serves as co-chair representing southern New Mexico for the The BorderPlex Alliance, an organization focused on economic development and industrial growth in the El Paso/Las Cruces/Juarez region.

He is also past chairman of the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce and Leadership New Mexico.

A native of New Mexico, Fanning is a 1983 graduate of New Mexico State University and a 1992 graduate of the SW Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
