Jake Carney is a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas Financial Sector Advisory Council.
Carney is a partner, head of macro and deputy chief investment officer at Castle Hook Partners, a New York-based global macro hedge fund. Carney heads the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
Prior to Castle Hook, Carney was a strategist at Soros Fund Management, where he specialized in global macroeconomic analysis and investments across asset classes and co-managed a macro-dedicated portfolio. Before Soros, Carney was part of an investment team at Duquesne Family Office with a primary focus on global macro analysis and emerging markets. Carney also worked at PointState Capital and Duquesne Capital Management, where he focused on macro and equity asset classes.
Carney received a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.
