Katherine Sedgwick

Katherine Sedgwick serves as senior vice president and general auditor of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, reporting directly to the board of directors audit committee. She provides supervision and oversight of the Eleventh District’s audit functions.

Sedgwick joined the Dallas Fed in 2011 as a senior accountant. She has held several positions during her more than 14 years with the bank, expanding her expertise and scope of responsibilities before ultimately being appointed general auditor in 2025. She has been actively involved in Eleventh District and systemwide committees and has led numerous projects.

Sedgwick earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of North Texas. She holds three certifications, including Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor and Chartered Global Management Accountant. She also holds memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Internal Auditors.
