Dallas Fed names David Teeples as vice president and deputy general counsel

For Immediate Release: Feb. 6, 2017

DALLAS—The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has named David Teeples as vice president and deputy general counsel.

Teeples has extensive private practice legal experience representing financial institutions in matters involving banking regulation, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, Securities and Exchange Commission compliance and corporate governance.

Prior to joining the Dallas Fed, Teeples practiced in the Dallas office of Squire Patton Boggs LLP.

Teeples earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Oklahoma and his juris doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
