Amy Chapel is assistant vice president for Integrated Policy at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, where she leads cross-functional teams to conduct integrated policy analysis on finance, financial stability and payments topics.
Since joining the Dallas Fed in 2012, Chapel has held various roles in the Research Department and Banking Supervision. She has conducted research on regional economic issues and led teams conducting research and quantitative modeling for banking industry trends and risks.
Chapel earned both her BA in economics and Chinese studies and BS in mathematics from the University of North Dakota, and her MA in economics from Cornell University.
