Ana Maria Santacreu

Ana Maria Santacreu is a research affiliate at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.

She is also an associate professor of economics at Southern Methodist University and an associate editor of the European Economic Review. She previously served as a senior economic policy advisor in the Research Division of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and as an assistant professor at INSEAD.

Santacreu's research focuses on international trade, international macroeconomics and economic growth. Her work examines global value chains, technology diffusion, trade policy and the macroeconomic effects of globalization, with publications in leading journals including the Journal of Political Economy, Review of Economics and Statistics, American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics and the Journal of International Economics.

She earned her PhD in economics from New York University.
