Evgeniya Duzhak
Evgeniya Duzhak is a senior business economist in the Research Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. She has contributed to research in the areas of labor markets and demographics, economic education, and macroeconomic dynamics.
She joined the Federal Reserve System in 2016 as an education research advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, where she conducted research related to economic education and evaluated education programs developed by the Economic Education group. She later transitioned to the role of regional policy economist, supporting the Beige Book team and conducting research on labor economics and immigration. Prior to joining the Fed, she was a lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, and served on the faculty of the City University of New York's Zicklin School of Business.
She has published her work in numerous academic journals and has presented at leading academic conferences. Her research has been covered by major news outlets, including The Economist, The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times and The Washington Post.
She holds an MA and PhD in economics from the University of Kansas.
