Ademiju Allen, Senior Client Analyst, Rystad Energy

Allen is a senior client analyst at Rystad Energy, an energy analysis and consultancy company. He is based in Rystad’s New York office, where he focuses on delivering data analysis, insights and workflow solutions to buy-side financial institutions.

Allen specializes in U.S. gas market fundamentals―supply, demand, pricing and storage. He is a fixed member and contributor of the Rystad Energy gas market team, which performs research, data synthesis and analysis of the U.S. and global gas market space. He co-authors Rystad’s monthly U.S. Gas Balances report and the U.S. weekly Gas Market Note.

Prior to joining Rystad in September of 2020, Allen was an analyst for eight years in the energy industry. He received his master’s degree in finance from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Ashish Sethia, Global Head of Commodities, Energy & Environmental Markets, BloombergNEF

Sethia leads a global group of energy, commodities and technology sector experts analyzing net-zero emissions pathways at BloombergNEF. He works extensively with chief experience officers and policymakers to decipher the interdependencies between various components of the energy transition to facilitate strategic decision-making.

In his previous role at BloombergNEF in Singapore, he was the head of Asia Pacific Research where he also analyzed and advised on clean energy, battery storage, sustainable finance and mobility sectors.

Sethia has spoken at leading forums such as the World Future Energy Summit, World Energy Leaders’ Summit and the Clean Energy Ministerial, hosted dialogues with G-20 ministers and given inputs to the works of the World Economic Forum and the World Energy Council.

Prior to joining Bloomberg, he led digital technology, capital budgeting and business process re-engineering projects across the world at European and Indian business consulting and technology firms.

Sethia obtained a bachelor’s in engineering from the University Institute of Technology and an MBA in finance and strategy from the Indian Institute of Technology.

Ellen R. Wald, President, Transversal Consulting

Wald is the president of Transversal Consulting and co-founder of Washington Ivy Advisors. She is also a senior non-resident fellow at the Atlantic Council's Global Energy Center and a fellow at the Canadian Global Affairs Institute. In her academic career, she held appointments at the University of Georgia, Cambridge University, the American Heritage Center at the University of Wyoming and Boston University, and she has degrees from Princeton University and Boston University. She is a regular commentator on energy policy and markets, often on Bloomberg, CNBC and NPR. She writes a weekly column on oil trading for an international audience at Investing.com.
