Call for Papers: 2020 System Energy Meeting
November 18–19, 2020 Houston Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas
The deadline for submitting papers or extended abstracts is Monday, July 6.
The Federal Reserve Banks of Dallas and Kansas City are organizing the 2020 System Energy Meeting at the Dallas Fed’s Houston branch on Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 18-19 2020.
We invite researchers in the Federal Reserve System (permanent staff and visiting scholars) to submit papers for this conference. We welcome papers from all areas within energy economics and resource economics as well as research on commodities (including metals and agricultural products). We will also consider papers on environmental economics and the transition toward renewable energy, especially if they have implications for energy markets or the macroeconomy. We encourage new system economists to submit papers. Completed papers will receive priority consideration.
The deadline for submitting papers or extended abstracts is Monday, July 6. Please send your submissions to both Nida Cakir Melek, firstname.lastname@example.org, and Lutz Kilian, email@example.com. Those wishing to serve as discussants are also invited to contact the organizers by the deadline.
System meeting participants may also attend the Dallas and Kansas City Feds’ joint energy conference on Friday, November 20. Information about last year’s energy conference can be found at 2019 conference.
