About Pascal Desroches

Pascal Desroches is senior executive vice president and chief financial officer of AT&T and has served on the Dallas Fed board since 2024.

Since joining AT&T in 2021, Desroches has spearheaded initiatives in cost transformation, balance sheet improvement and 5G and fiber investment.

He was previously executive vice president and chief financial officer of WarnerMedia and administrative officer of Turner Broadcasting System Inc. Before joining WarnerMedia, he was a partner at KPMG and a professional accounting fellow at the Securities and Exchange Commission.

He serves on the boards of the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, Honeywell Aerospace and Prep for Prep. He also is a member of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center President’s Advisory Board. He previously was a trustee of St. John’s University and chaired Davita Inc.’s audit committee.

Desroches is an honors graduate of St. John’s University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He received an MBA, with a concentration in corporate finance and organizational management from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

About Reginald DesRoches

Reginald DesRoches is president of Rice University and a professor of environmental engineering and mechanical engineering.

He previously served as provost and dean of engineering in the School of Engineering and Computing.

Under DesRoches’ leadership, Rice has hired more than 200 tenure-track faculty members, established new majors and minors, launched several new centers and institutes and created new partnerships and programs in the Houston area, including with Texas Medical Center. DesRoches' tenure has also seen the launch of Rice Global India in Bengaluru to increase collaboration between Rice and one of India’s rapidly growing high-tech cities, and Rice’s presence in Europe and Latin America has grown.

DesRoches is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the National Academy of Construction, as well as a distinguished member of the American Society of Civil Engineering and a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He is also a member of the Academy of Distinguished Alumni in Civil Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley and was named an honorary alumnus of Georgia Tech University.

DesRoches holds a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, a master’s in civil engineering and a doctorate in structural engineering, all from UC Berkeley.
