Hunter Hunt

Hunter Hunt joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas board in 2026.

Hunt is chairman and CEO of Hunt Energy LLC, and co-CEO of its holding company, Hunt Consolidated Inc. He oversees the operations of Hunt Oil Co., Hunt Power and the other energy activities of the Ray L. Hunt family of Dallas.

He previously served on the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas Energy Advisory Council and is a co-founder and board member of the SMU Lyle School of Engineering’s Hunter and Stephanie Hunt Institute for Engineering & Humanity, which focuses on bringing innovative technological and business solutions to the underprivileged.

He also holds leadership roles in numerous other organizations, including the Dallas Citizens Council, Texas 2036, Texas Health Resources, the Atlantic Council and the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

Hunt graduated from Southern Methodist University, earning a bachelor of science degree.
