Srini Ramaswamy is a senior financial economist in the Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. He is a member of the financial sector and policy analysis team, where he helps with monitoring financial market developments.

Before joining the Dallas Fed, he spent over two decades at JPMorgan, most recently as co-head of U.S. Rates Strategy, where he was responsible for the firm's views and outlook on U.S. interest rate markets. His personal research focus has centered on the interest rate derivatives markets. He has also previously served as the head of ALM Research and Strategy with the firm’s Chief Investment Office, focusing on interest rate risk management strategy and balance sheet optimization.

He started his career in the airline industry, developing algorithms to solve large scale schedule optimization problems at a large U.S. airline. He holds a BTech in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a PhD in mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
